LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOMEOWNERS HELD
ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2004 IMMEDIATELY
FOLLOWING BRISTOL LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
BOARD MEETING AT TEMPLE SHAAREI SHALOM
A Special Meeting of the Bristol Lakes
Homeowners Association’s Community
was held on October 21,2004 immediately
following the Bristol Lakes Homeowners
Association Board Meeting at Temple
Shaarei Shalom which began at 7:30 P.
M.
The members present were Charles Koch,
President; Lewis Doctor, Vice President;
Mary Curlew, Secretary, Dr. Lou Tumminia,
Director and Brian Evans, Treasurer.
Present from Residential Management
Concepts was Gary Palombi, Richard Clem
and Anne Reyes.
The meeting was called to order at
8:25 P. M. directly following a recess
from the Board of Directors Meeting.
Gary Palombi from Residential Management
Concepts presented the Affidavit of
Mailing for the Special Community Meeting.
Gary Palombi stated that a quorum had
been met with 134 persons present or
by proxy.
Charles Koch opened the floor for a
Good and Welfare session in regard to
the voting for the Special Meeting.
Each person was limited to approximately
3 minutes to ask questions or voice
an opinion. The discussions included
questions about the Mandatory Membership
and the Line of Credit. Comments in
regard to the irrigation systems were
addressed as well as the landscaping.
A lengthy discussion was also had in
regard to the document changes.
Gary Palombi asked for 3 volunteers
and a witness the ballot. Ira Davis,
Sonia Teller and Jodi Pessenda and by
Dr. Louis Tumminia volunteered.
During the counting of the votes, another
Good and Welfare Session was held.
Gary Palombi stated that the vote for
the proposed loan has been approved
with a vote of 106 in favor and 28 opposing.
Gary Palombi also stated that the amendment
to resolve the community position regarding
Mandatory Membership in the Aberdeen
Golf & Country Club did not pass.
Gary Palombi contacted Ken Direktor,
the Association’s Attorney while
the meeting was in process. Gary Palombi
stated that Ken Direktor advised that
if the Membership agreed, this portion
of the Special Meeting could be recessed
in order to contact the Community that
had not responded. The Membership was
asked to recess this portion of the
Special Meeting for a later date and
the majority agreed, seconded by the
Board.
Charles Koch made a motion to adjourn
this meeting to return to the Board
of Directors meeting, motion was accepted
and seconded.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.
M.
